Kelsey is a young and enthusiastic lady. She is learning so fast and getting comfy in her foster home. She doesn’t know the common commands yet, but her instincts are good. She is currently learning “sit” and her name. She is a dream to walk. No dragging or pulling, except when reacting to the occasional squirrel! Kelsey is quite the cuddler and prefers snuggles on the couch. She is definitely not safe in a crate, and we think this might be due to a past bad experience. She is curious about other dogs in the park and on walks, but remains quiet and keeps to herself most of the time. She is fascinated with her foster rabbit, and has a healthy prey instinct. She is also physically agile and can easily climb over a baby gate. When she’s all tired out from walks, she likes to curl up on the couch and snore so softly. Kelsey will need patient care from her forever family to help her adjust to the city’s sights and sounds, driving in the car, learning commands and helping her feel safe when she gets spooked. She is a real charmer and would love to be your new best friend!
