Walker

Posted on Posted in Adopted

Walker (Texas Ranger) is loving life in Canada! He’s still recovering from being neutered recently but is quickly healing and getting comfortable with his foster parents.  He has been steadily gaining weight at his foster home and is recovering from his neuter surgery.  He has quite the personality as his tail wags like a banshee when he sees you and he lets out the cutest goofiest toothiest smile!

Walker was dumped at a Texas shelter when he was deemed an unworthy hunting dog, he didn’t even have a name.  Texas’ loss is Canada’s gain!  Walker is still getting used to the bright lights and loud sounds of Toronto; vehicles frighten him but people and dogs are curious creatures he’s happy to meet. He is very interested in birds and squirrels so a home without small animals is best.  He is currently fostered with and great dane and would do well with another playful canine sibling.

He’s a very passionate guy and is quick to show it. He will be an incredible 4-legged friend to a lucky home.
